It allows 12 days comfort class travel (doesn't have to be consecutive days) in a 30-day period and is ideal for seeing as much as possible in this huge country. And it'll save you money on accommodation, as many of our long distance trains are overnight, so no need for a room for the night.

With a CanRail pass you are entitled to:
- Coach class travel
- Unlimited stopovers
- 12, 13, 14 or 15 days of unlimited travel within a 30 day period
- Travel days do not need to be consecutive
- Cheaper passes if you are travelling in off peak periods
- Children aged 2-11 years inclusive are entitled to discounted pass prices
- Students aged 12-17 years inclusive and those aged 18 years and over with a valid ISIC card are entitled to discounted pass prices
- Seniors aged 60 years and over are entitled to discounted pass prices
